DJ MARZ’s story begins with Ramsey gazing up at the star lit sky one faithful night to admire the red planet from his earthly home while mixing some of his favorite tunes…

Just kidding, I wish my story was that romantic! But on a real note, my passion for music and fascination with space are what ultimately compelled me to take a chance on DJ MARZ, creating experiences that make you feel like you’re on another planet with your closest family and friends, making memories that are sure to last a lifetime.

My passion for music doesn’t stop at one genre, or even one language. Growing up, my MP3 player never left my side. 90s and 2000s Hip-Hop, R&B, Alt-Rock, Classic Rock, and Country were always bumping in my headphones. In the back seat of my parent’s car on the way to the mall or grocery store, the cassette tape was always playing Arabic music (if you know, you know). When I got to college, I met my best friend, EDM, or Electronic Dance Music. EDM quickly became my favorite genre, drawing me to the American music festival scene, which only furthered my appreciation for music. And then I married the love of my life, who is part Venezuelan and my sidekick during most gigs, and she introduced me to the beautiful world of Spanish music. 

DJing wasn't something I chose to do on a whim, it felt like a calling from above. It's not just about playing the next song, it's about creating a vibe and riding that vibe like a wave for the rest of the night, and that's exactly what you get with DJ MARZ.
